Shaine Marsden '11, daughter of Mina Marsden, has been selected to attend the MSC Spring Leadership Trip to Houston. She has been accepted to Florida State University's graduate program in Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs.

Jayme Streifert '13, daughter of Patti Streifert, received the Distinguished Student Award from the College of Liberal Arts for her GPA during the Fall Semester 2009.

Elizabeth Lemanski '12, daughter of Cyndi Lemanski and a student at the Galveston campus, has been activated by the U.S. Navy to assist with the Haitian relief effort in Cuba.

Sarah Redkey '10, daughter of Caren Redkey, is in the Professional Accounting Program and is interning with Ernst & Young.

Madi O'Brien '13, daughter of Gloria O'Brien, is stage manager for the drama, "My Children! My Africa!" to be presented in April.

Jonathan Hart '10, son of Cathleen Hart, is President of the Roadrunners Club at A&M, which sponsors group runs to focus on staying in shape and meeting new people.
