Lt. General Weber was born in Weimar, Texas, in 1950 and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1972. Immediately upon graduation he began his 36 years of service to the nation as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps. Over the course of an extensive Military career, the General served throughout the U.S. and overseas focusing on training, education and readiness of thousands of service members and civilians as well as the responsibility for their health, welfare and overall quality of life. A strong desire to continue to serve coupled with the satisfaction gained over a long career of addressing the needs and aspirations of young, dedicated men and women would eventually steered this Marine back to Texas A&M in August 2008 to serve as Vice Presidentfor Student Affairs.

Lieutenant General Weber is married to the former Brenda Kay Staples '76 of Paris, Texas. The General and his wife have two children, Major Clint Weber, USMC '98 and Julie Anne Sawyer '01, wife of Capt Blake Sawyer, USMC '97.
